| Boosting Engineering, Science & Technology (BEST) is a group that hosts an annual competition in which local middle/high school students team up with technologists from local businesses and schools to build a remote-controlled robot. The robots are designed to solve a particular problem that changes from year to year. There are several restrictions that apply to make this competition both more "interesting" and more realistic. | |
| The BEST hub in Northwest Arkansas has been active for the past four years and has grown to over twenty teams based in high schools throughout Arkansas. New news in NWA BEST: a BEST alumni association is being established at the University of Arkansas. It will provide an opportunity for BEST alumni and interested students to participate in collegiate level robotics competitions and to promote the BEST competition at the high school level. | ||
